Australian Guest: P.M. Newton

P.M. Newton spent thirteen years in the New South Wales Police Force, working as a detective, before resigning to write about music in Mali and study Buddhism in India. Her first novel, The Old School, was published in 2010 and shortlisted for the Indie Award for Debut Fiction, the Ned Kelly Award for Best First Fiction, and was joint winner of the Asher Literary Award.
